Five years ago, an idea sparked to write and perform one very different and awesomely entertaining Broadway tribute. What started as a concept, blossomed into a beautiful production, paving the way for the ministry we have built today. Music Always Repeats Itself is staying true to its name....so here we go again!
Walk into our version 2019 take on a Moulin Rouge if it had had the Beatles, Broadway, Elton John and some iconic others. Comprised of a cast ranging from 7 years of age to 21; join us as we deliver a night of fun and entertainment! Directed by Taryn Cain, Briee Daniels (most formerly Cosette in LES MIS) script-writing by Amanda Townsend (most formerly Madame Thenardier in LES MIS), music collaboration and direction by Jake Andersen (most formerly Valjean in LES MIS), and choregraphy by Liv Hendrick (most formerly Choreographer in LES MIS), this brand new show features 40 performers taking you through over 30 songs and stories that you are sure to recall. Songs from MOULIN ROUGE, CHICAGO, ACROSS THE UNIVERSE and many others, are featured in this fast-paced, exciting tribute to Broadway Musical Theatre and classic rock.
It has been said that, in musical theatre, when the emotion becomes too strong for speech, you sing; and, when it becomes too strong for song, you dance. This group does all three. And they do it on a four color set with one giant windmill. With their stunning strong voices, rapid song changes, and thrilling choreography, Music Always Repeats Itself promises to be 75 minutes you will never forget!
