The book, A Patchwork Girl of Oz” was written by the one and only Frank L. Baum; same author as ‘The Wizard of Oz.’ This was his 7th of the 14th book series, and references many of the characters that we already know (Dorothy, Scarecrow, Tin Man, etc.) as well as introduces many others. The show is extremely family-friendly and is light-hearted.
